Every MAGIS home is built with SIREWALL V3 — Structural Insulated Rammed Earth. It is the strongest rammed earth system in the world, the only one of its kind, and the reason a MAGIS home performs differently from every other home on the market.
The Materials
Engineered sandstone. Built from the ground beneath it.
SIREWALL walls are made from locally sourced soil compressed in lifts to 60–90% of their original height. The result is engineered sandstone — a monolithic wall system with no mortar joints, no weak points, no synthetic materials. SIREWALL V3 achieves a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 psi and up to 7,000 psi — the same range as high-strength concrete. It has been refined over 33 years of research and development and protected by four patents.
Health
Mold has no pathway here.
Conventional construction enables mold because conventional materials trap moisture. Drywall, synthetic insulation, and organic building materials create the conditions biotoxins need to propagate. SIREWALL eliminates that pathway entirely. Its walls naturally regulate indoor humidity to 40–60% — the range at which mold cannot grow — without mechanical intervention. The result is an environment that does not accumulate the biotoxins responsible for Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, a condition affecting an estimated 25% of the population. SIREWALL, with the same compressive strength as concrete and an integral hydrophobic admixture that resists moisture all the way through, is expected to last 1,000 years. SIREWALL sources approximately 90% of its materials locally — soil, aggregate, and admixtures drawn from the land near the build site. Forms are reused. Local tradespeople are hired and trained. The embedded carbon of a MAGIS home is a fraction of conventional construction, and its lifespan eliminates the replacement cycles that make conventional buildings environmentally costly over time.
