To provide homes that are healthy, and healing. Our homes consider the whole person and the environment together. There is not one without the other, and both must be working in harmony to create spaces that are truly healthy and healing for the entire human body.
With our extensive backgrounds in architecture, interior design, and rammed earth technology we are able to make this consideration and deliver a product that keeps you safe, keeps you healthy, and will keep you breathing easy for generations.
Most homes in North America are built with price per square foot in mind and are made with the cheapest possible materials. Homes in America are rated to last for less than 50 years.
We grow tired of being in an industry where 95% of so-called modern/luxury homes are built with the cheapest possible materials and could be blown away by a minor storm.
Where the health of the indoor environment is compromised and most industry professionals are not even aware or the ones that are are ok with it as long as they are making a profit.
Magis was developed to build homes for people dealing with CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) which is typically a response to mold inside their living environment. Our challenge was to build homes that are mold-free, to provide safe spaces for people who are highly sensitive to chemicals, to make homes that last, to make homes that are affordable.
